  I have 18 years experience in the General Insurance Industry, consisting of 5 years experience in the broking market and a further 13 years experience in the recruitment industry; the last 6 of which have been for IDEX which I established in 2006.  My expertise ranges from recruiting professionals across the UK for Insurance Companies, Brokers and Underwriters and providing businesses with senior level, strategic input in order to help them recruit the right people and retain their talent.

  On those rare and luxurious occasions when I’m away from the office or taking a break from my Insurance Institute duties, I like to spend time with my family and my 3 young children.  I also have a keen interest in road and mountain biking – my most recent road challenge being Wolverhampton to Aberdovey.

  I have 8 years experience in Financial Services recruitment and specialise in the recruitment of financial planners, compliance and back office support. I am responsible for recruiting at a senior level within the Midlands market while involved in strategic planning for the business and heading up the financial services division which includes the management of the Bristol branch of IDEX. I work with leading financial services organisations to attract talent and help with retention. I love working with businesses to attract the best possible person available for their requirement while also helping people grow and develop their careers

  I have many sporting interests and have played football in the Midlands combination and AFA leagues, 7 of which were for Britannic assurance!

  I have been working in Insurance recruitment for 11 years and recruit within the UK and European Insurance markets. My experience ranges from recruiting within regional markets in the UK, the development of a major FTSE 250 recruitment company, to running a specialist team in the City of London that focuses on Lloyd's and the London Insurance market. My role is the management and strategic implementation of the London office, as well as dealing with customers and ensuring our product proposition is of the right standard and service levels. I really enjoy delivering a good service as well as taking on challenging assignments that improve business performance.

  I am a keen rugby fan (ex-player due to injury) and cricketer, regularly turning out for Sevenoaks Vine Cricket Club every Saturday in the summer.
