Commercial Account Handler – Milton Keynes

Salary: £21,000 - £23,000 + bonus


A well renowned insurance broker is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their sizeable Milton Keynes broking team.

This role would suit individuals keen to progress their career in insurance within a large organisation who encourage professional progression, including full support with CII exams. Their employee benefits scheme includes a flexible holiday entitlement, pension scheme, PMI and childcare vouchers.

The role is within the SME team dealing with volume Commercial Insurance business including Package, Commercial Motor, Combined Liability and Property Owners. The Account Handler will look after a portfolio of existing clients and will be targeted to maximise retention. In addition will work towards a new business target, cross-selling where appropriate and generating new leads. Building relationships with colleagues, Underwriters and clients alike will be a key part of the role.

Applicants for this role must have experience in the insurance industry ideally within a broker background and have knowledge of Commercial products such as Property and Liability. Organisational skills are extremely important in order to deal with the high volume of business accurately and within deadlines.
