A well-established and highly regarded Scottish law firm is looking for a Senior Associate to join its dispute resolution team - and to help shape its future. If you're a Litigation Solicitor who thrives on variety, works well with autonomy and wants genuine scope to progress, this is worth a conversation.

You'll run your own diverse caseload - commercial and personal contract disputes, property and landlord/tenant matters, professional negligence claims and some motoring-related criminal defence - while working closely with Partners and mentoring the next generation of the team. It's a role with real trust attached: you'll be given the room to manage files your way, backed by a firm that invests in its people.
What you'll be doing
- Managing litigation from first instruction through to resolution
- Appearing in the Sheriff Court
- Handling ADR matters, including First Tier Tribunal proceedings and arbitrations
- Supervising, training and mentoring Trainees and Junior Solicitors
- Building lasting client relationships through excellent, consistent service
What you'll bring
- Solid experience in general and/or commercial litigation
- Advocacy experience in the Sheriff Court and/or First Tier Tribunal
- Confident, personable client-facing skills
- Strong organisation and time management
- Commercial nous and the judgement to work independently
- A collaborative mindset - you'll be a go-to person for junior colleagues
