A highly regarded, national wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join its established office in Gloucestershire. This is a rare opportunity to inherit and develop a well-maintained client bank as part of a structured succession plan.

The Opportunity

You will take over an existing portfolio of approximately 110 clients, generating around £600k in annual recurring revenue, from a retiring Director. The role offers immediate client responsibility alongside the chance to further grow the book through referrals and new business activity.

The firm has a strong track record of growth through both acquisitions and organic expansion, creating a stable environment with clear long-term career prospects.

The Role

  • Manage and develop an established client portfolio
  • Provide holistic, high-quality financial planning advice
  • Build long-term relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth of the regional office


Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £80,000
  • Year 1: No validation target, with 35% bonus on new business
  • Year 2+: Bonus structure based on exceeding validation (3x salary)
  • Additional bonus for transferring client assets
  • £4,200 car allowance

About You

  • Experienced Financial Planner with a strong track record
  • Ideally managing a client bank (~£10m AUM+)
  • Strong relationship management and client-facing skills
  • Chartered status preferred (or working towards)
  • Ambitious, professional, and growth-focused
