A leading US law firm is seeking a talented Real Estate Finance Associate to join its highly regarded New York team. The successful candidate will work on sophisticated, high-value real estate finance transactions, advising lenders, borrowers, sponsors and institutional investors on a broad range of matters, including acquisition financing, construction loans, mezzanine and bridge financing, CMBS and structured real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate finance gained at a leading US law firm, with excellent knowledge of secured lending, loan documentation, due diligence and the negotiation of financing arrangements. Candidates should have strong drafting and analytical skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage demanding transactions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Admission to the New York Bar is required and candidates with approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
