Real Estate Paralegal

Job description

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a highly regarded international law firm, based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

This is a great opportunity for a Real Estate paralegal with a background in acquisitions to step into a role supporting major energy and utilities clients on English law transactions - think sub-station and radio site acquisitions, leases, wayleaves, easements, and variations. If you enjoy a fast-paced caseload and want genuine client exposure, this one's worth a look.

What you'll be doing:

  • Running your own caseload of transactions, liaising directly with clients to take instructions
  • Drafting acquisition documentation and negotiating directly with counterparties
  • Carrying out title reviews
  • Handling file opening, including first drafts of retainer letters and AML compliance
  • Working across data rooms and online trackers
  • Managing completions and post-completion work - registrations, filings, and reporting

What they're looking for:
You'll be an enthusiastic, detail-focused Real Estate Paralegal who's used to juggling a busy workload and using your own initiative.

What's on offer:

  • Competitive salary, reviewed annually
  • Hybrid, flexible working
  • Generous bonus scheme
  • Up to 25 days' holiday (rising to 28)
  • Holiday exchange scheme
  • Private medical insurance
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • A genuinely inclusive employer, with reasonable adjustments in line with the Equality Act 2010
