Rare opportunity to join a privately owned (non PE backed) MGA and Wholesale Broker as a Senior Habitational Property Underwriter with scope to grow the book/team.
This is joining a firm who are already securing capacity for a new Northeast US property programme, meaning you'll be able to make an impact straight away. You'll have meaningful ownership of underwriting strategy, risk selection, pricing and portfolio development.
In essence, you'll lead, have the opportunity to work with senior leadership and be able to make a genuine impact within a growing independent business.
We are looking for an excellent Senior Habitational Property Underwriter.
Someone who knows the Northeast property market.
Someone with established Broker relationships.
And, importantly, someone who is a self-starter and would value working in a smaller, nimble environment where you have access to senior leadership and have an actual voice in the business.

- $160k - $200k base + package + bonus. Equity potentially on offer for senior, high impact individuals

The wider business is already demonstrating what happens when the right people are given the platform to build.
One of their existing verticals was started from scratch earlier this year and is already tracking towards a $15m GWP book, with further underwriting hires being made.

There is no PE fund dictating the five-year plan. The business is independently backed, allowing the leadership team to make decisions around talent, capacity and growth based on what makes sense for the business.
