A large and successful mid corporate broker in Manchester seek a talented and experienced Head of Corporate to lead their successful and established team. 

The Company

The Role
As part of their organic growth strategy, they are now looking to appoint a Head of Corporate,  responsibility for the profit & loss of the Corporate division within the broker, managing a team of Account Executives as well as a wider broking/handling team via managers. Driving the performance of the team through effective management, you will have the flair to inspire those around you whilst holding everyone to the high standards that the broker expect of their staff. Take on responsibility for a defined area of an established brokerage, ultimately holding accountability for the financial performance of the unit and future growth of the business.

To be considered...
Worked within the commercial/corporate broker world as an Account Executive/Director, possibly have leadership experience. Essential to the role is the ability to inspire and lead those around you to deliver a more sales orientated approach, coaching the Executives on how to grow and develop their portfolio of clients.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Handler to join a highly reputable global broker in their highly successful Manchester office dealing with Event Cancellation, LAMPS (Airside Liability) and UK Construction as well as other lines of business.

The Role
Working within a large and successful corporate team, you will take on responsibility for an existing portfolio of clients charged with managing their renewal and any mid term adjustments alongside the clients dedicated Account Executive. You will be involved with a small number of very large renewals annually which require extensive preparation work as well as a significant number of MTA adjustments due to the nature of the client bank. 

To be considered...

You must have experience gained as a Commercial Account Handler, ideally with experience in dealing with larger value commercial / corporate customers. You will also need to have good technical knowledge and be able to deliver an expert level of service to clients. A focus on broking within the construction sector a must.

The Role
Responsible for a large and established portfolio of corporate clients within the Utility sector. Be the face of the insurance broker to these clients, ensuring that they receive the service needed from the team who support the renewal and project insurance needs as well as providing risk management advice where appropriate.

The clients in question have highly complex and non-standard insurance programmes as well as significant project insurance needs, due to the additional business interests they hold. As well as managing the relationship with the client you will also be responsible for managing key internal stakeholders within the broker, ensuring service level standards are maintained to a high standard.

To be considered...
It is essential you have prior experience in an Account Director level role within a corporate insurance broker and specific knowledge of the Utility sector. In addition to this you will also have first rate relationship management skills with a track record of retaining large & complex corporate clients.
