My client is a leading private bank based in Birmingham City Center, looking for a Administration Manager to provide day-to-day management of client deposits and the provision and delivery of the full range of private banking services. To support the Client Manager's/Senior Manager's/ Director's and other team members in the provision of investment services to clients of Private Banking.

Key responsibilities:

  • To provide support to the private banking team and to work in conjunction with
  • To provide private banking and investment admin services to new and established clients
  • To ensure that the workflow is handled in accordance with the departmental procedures and to meet client expectations
  • To assist the Private Banking Director in the development, implementation and maintenance of departmental procedures and controls
  • Full PA to the Head of Birmingham and team. Arranging meetings with clients and professionals, including travel and hotel where required. Also organising regular meetings with clients, professionals and team meetings
  • Arranging events internally and externally, including client and professional lunches as well as larger networking events and evenings. Also ensuring the there is a high quality of guests at these events (also attending many of these events)
  • Supervisory responsibilities for 3 Client Administrators including regular 121s and training/development
  • Establishing a good working relationship with PAs from other organisations we work closely with e.g. SGH Martineau, Higgs, Orbis etc.
  • Developing a good working relationship with investment management teams based in other office and financial planning in order to ensure clients receive a high level of service

The successful candidate will have an investment, banking or IFA background, with a strong support PA background and exposure to supervising a team.
