Partnered with a medium sized IFA in Surrey who are in the market for an Administrator to join the team. Initially this would start as basic office administration, but there is scope for the right individual to progress into a more technical based role in line with business requirements.

This role would suit someone who is looking to start a career in Financial Services whether you have minimal work experience or looking for a complete career change. You must be professional, articulate and willing to learn in addition to being well presented due to the nature of the role.

• Answering the telephone to clients, providers and suppliers
• Setting up new scheme files and restructure of existing files
• Opening, scanning and distributing the post in the mornings
• Dealing with outgoing post
• Stationery ordering
• Keeping the office document supply up to date
• Greeting guests and clients
• Updating visitors’ board each day
• Making refreshments for visitors to the office
• Ensuring all meeting rooms are tidy and ready to receive next visitors
• Learning to use our document management system (Virtual Cabinet)
• Filing/scanning using Virtual Cabinet
• Archiving files in preparation to go offsite
• General office duties
• Learning to use our back office database (Intelligent Office) and updating records on the system
• Preparing letters and correspondence using Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Own transport is essential as the office is based in a semi-rural location

Where applicable, full training will be given to the successful applicant

In return, they offer the following package
• Salary £15,000-£17,000
• 25 days’ holiday per annum
