A rapidly expanding insurance business in Melton Mowbray have a unique opportunity available to join as a Business Development Executive.

Most telesales/sales opportunities don't offer you a genuine career path - this firm is looking for an individual who would like to carve our a long-term career in the insurance sector, representing one of the best regarded specialist insurance Brokers in the UK.

We say unique, because it's a hybrid role - you'll prospect for new business using warm lists of data, you'll open doors, sign up new businesses but you'll also have the opportunity to meet with your clients face to face.

This mean's you won't be stuck at your desk Monday - Friday and you'll have the opportunity to meet with people you build rapport with over the phone...we are talking about taking them out for lunch or simply grabbing a coffee when you are next in their local area.

A key part of your role is to develop relationships with recruitment businesses and contractor Accountants across the UK, ensuring business owners are regularly providing you details of candidates/Accountants who may require an insurance review. As your leads are converted, you will be paid commission. What you'll be offering is simple, your clients need it to remain compliant. Win, win!

You have a track record of exceeding sales targets, which means you are naturally money motivated right? Great, now what else is on offer?

  • If successful, you will be offered a basic salary of up to £30,000 + car allowance of £4,200 + your commission earnings are uncapped!

What do you need to have on your CV to be considered?

  • You must be target driven, you'll be able to demonstrate that you have hit/exceeding sales targets throughout your career
  • You'll have experience prospecting and opening doors with relevant contacts
  • You'll feel comfortable building relationships, not afraid of starting up a conversation and to provide clear, effective communication
  • Sector/Industry is open but if you have worked within insurance/financial services/recruitment industries this would be advantageous
