I am working with one of the UK's leading Private Client Wealth Managers in London. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, intelligent and driven Financial Planner to work for a top tier firm and progress within the industry.

You will be serving a wide range of affluent and wealthy clients across different ages, professional background and wealth levels. My client's Advisers work with professionals, business owners, families, retirees and other high-net-worth individuals as well as charities and trusts.

You will be providing advice in all the key areas of financial planning: investment, strategy, retirement planning, protection, mortgages, inheritance planning, tax allowance and specialist investments.

Role overview
To build and develop trusted relationships with all historical and potential clients, servicing an existing client bank of HNW households.
Responsible for acquiring new clients, assets and generating new advice fees and net flows per annum.

Level 6 preferred, Level 4 minimum with expertise in investments/IHT and pensions.
If in Private Bank then trained in financial planning and has knowledge of cash flow modelling so can embrace lifestyle financial planning.

Experience requirements
IFA or Wealth Management Financial Planner with experience.
Track record of growing a client base with 100+ client relationships.
Advice revenues over £200k and £5-10m+ AuM.

Person profile
Excellent relationship developer through networking, leveraging existing contacts, referrals and incremental business from existing clients.
Ability to deliver a holistic client financial planning experience.
Highly motivated self-starter and a strong team player.
Commercial thinker with strong new business acumen.
Comfortable working under manageable pressure to achieve KPIs.
Well-organised, excellent administration ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

General duties
To plan, implement and execute the annual business plan in line with your agreed individual targets acquiring new clients growing initial revenues and cumulative AuM.
Grow the client bank in line with your agreed individual targets through personal prospecting, e.g.; existing clients, referrals, introductions from professionals.
Ensure all periodic client reviews are completed in line with client's expectations and changing circumstances.
Achieve all key performance indicators (KPIs) measured via a balanced business scorecard (BBS).
Grow both the total and average ongoing advice fees across all retained clients.

Regulatory responsibilities (compliance/T&C)
As an approved person, you must accept responsibility and demonstrate an understanding for the regulatory aspects and framework of the FCA controlled function that you perform and ensure you meet and abide by the rules of the FCA's fit and proper test and comply with the FCA's Statements of Principle and the Code of Practice. Additionally you must ensure your compliance with all internal policies, procedures and standards.
