Client Service Leader / Client Director - UHNW & Family Office

Job description

This is an opportunity to join the launch of a new international UHNW & Family Office proposition - backed by significant investment, an ambitious leadership team and a genuine appetite to do things differently.

Rather than inheriting an established book, you'll have the opportunity to help build the proposition, take ownership of a select portfolio of complex UHNW clients and shape what exceptional client service looks like as the business grows internationally.

The Role

You'll operate across two key areas:

Client Director

  • Manage a select portfolio of UHNW and Family Office clients.
  • Act as a trusted adviser across complex, multi-class insurance programmes.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, family offices, private banks and professional advisers.
  • Lead new client onboarding and develop bespoke insurance solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the book through referrals, introducers and international networks.

Client Service Leader

  • Help define and implement the "what excellent looks like" service proposition.
  • Work with leadership and internal teams to continually improve client experience, technology and processes.
  • Help build the culture and service standards as the proposition scales.

The Business

The Private Client division is expanding from an established UK HNW base into the international UHNW and Family Office market, with future hubs planned across Monaco, Geneva, Dubai and Singapore, followed by New York and Miami.

The proposition will focus on protecting complex individuals, families and family offices through discreet, relationship-led and cross-class insurance solutions, supported by an existing MGA and innovative product capability.

About You

We're looking for an experienced HNW / UHNW Private Client insurance professional with:

  • Strong experience managing complex Private Client portfolios.
  • Technical knowledge across high-value property, motor, art, jewellery, yachts, aviation and liability.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence, discretion and client empathy.
  • Commercial drive and the ability to develop relationships and grow a book.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build something new.

Experience of MGA underwriting, specialist markets, cyber or trustee liability would be advantageous.

Why Join?

This is a chance to build, influence and lead - not simply manage an existing book.

You'll have genuine influence over the client proposition, access to senior leadership, technical and administrative support, international exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in one of the business's most ambitious growth areas.

If you're an established UHNW / Private Client professional looking for your next challenge, we'd like to hear from you.
