IDEX Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a growing employee benefits intermediary in Birmingham, in the search for an experienced Client Services Executive.

Assisting the senior consulting team, you would act as a first-point of contact for client enquiries and tackle scheme analysis, market reviews, project implementation, go-to-market, renewals and assisting with new client on-boarding.

The ideal applicant will have experience within employee benefits, tackling group risk (critical illness, life assurance, income protection, EAP) or health (private medical) related schemes within businesses from 5-500+ employees and ideally be studying of completed CII GR1 or CII IF7.

Core responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day support to the consultancy team on scheme renewals, adjustments and new implementations
  • Liaising with existing clients with ongoing enquiries and communicating scheme time-lines, whilst spotting opportunities and feeding back to the consultancy and new business teams
  • Technically assess scheme suitability around group risk or health-care related schemes, providing go-to-market assessments, analysis, market reviews and reports, and suggesting best fit services
  • Tackle administration responsibilities; maintaining compliant records, assisting consultants with day-to-day duties
  • Liaise proactively with providers to ensure clients, to ensure delivery within agreed SLA's

What we're searching for:

  • Technical expertise across group risk and/or health-care scheme administration
  • Client-centric approach to client support, with exposure of working with SME and large corporate employers on employee benefits management
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficient, able to proactively manage workload and complete tasks within set timescales
