Kent (hybrid working)
£35,000 - £42,000 + discretionary bonus and excellent benefits including PMI, generous pension contribution and the ability to buy/sell holiday

A leading UK Broker is seeking an Account Handler in their modern, state of the art Kent office to handle a mixture of general commercial insurance risks including Commercial Combined, Property Owners and Financial Lines.

The Account Handler will work with the Account Executives to retain clients (producing renewal reports), manage MTAs and generate new business. This will entail building relationships with clients, analysing data to help create client-facing presentations, liaising with Insurers, broking, invoicing, loading all information on Acturis and generally being a contact point for client queries. The Account Handlers in the team will attend meetings with the Account Executives where appropriate.

The essentials? Cross-class commercial insurance knowledge, Account Handling/ Broking experience and negotiation/ organisation skills, with an enthusiastic client-centric attitude!

Cert CII and Acturis experience would also be desirable. The ideal candidate will be proactive, confident on a video meeting, able to articulate things well, think outside the box and on their feet! Commercial Underwriters will also be considered for this position.
