My client is looking for a Compliance Assistant reporting to the Compliance Manager.


They are a small firm, based near to Sutton Park. This client-centric firm are looking for someone with the same values as they have. This is an office based role working within a dynamic team.


This is the perfect role for someone who has the view to grow within a company and progress, offering a salary of up to £25,000.

Key responsibilities
Any likely candidate to assist the Compliance Manager would need to ideally have the following:-

  • Some element of compliance knowledge or background - this could come from working in a compliance team, File Checker, Paraplanner or possibly audit
  • Studying towards your Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
  • Looking to forge a career in compliance
  • Must be willing to learn things from the company's viewpoint
  • Easy to get on with but not afraid to speak to people to obtain information or clarity or when feeding back not such good news
  • Must be organised and analytical with an ability to see the bigger picture
  • Good attention to detail is a bonus
  • Must be able to create relationships with Threesixty, PI Insurers, FOS, FCA, Advisers and all company staff etc.
  • Must be able to manage day to day jobs (workload)
  • The ability to be able to learn how to write high level reports and being able to handle complaints from start to finish
  • Must be able to understand what compliance means to a company these days
  • Resilient - Has to be able to keep 'plugging' away even when it seems people aren't listening
