A top broking outfit in Northamptonshire who are embracing technology and home-working are in the market to appoint a Corporate Account Executive / Director to service a £200,000 income book of business.

This rare opportunity is available due to impending retirements. This means there will be a smooth handover of clients within your first 3 - 6 months.

As a Commercial Account Executive, can you relate to this story?

It seems every time you log on to Linkedin, there's a fresh new Insurance Broker setting up in your area, offering clients silly prices. You still carry on your day as normal and manage to get in front of a prospect. Great! But you soon find out you're up against 7 other competitors.

You represent a service led Broker but not all client's appreciate that, some just love a good deal!

I understand your frustrations, especially when you have new business targets to hit.

Building rapport with commercial clients is what you do best but winning complete new business as a Development Executive is getting tougher and tougher each year

You take pride in being a technical, well-rounded Commercial Insurance Broker and have a track record of going the extra mile for your clients. Wouldn't it be easier if there was an opportunity out there, where you can inherit an established commercial book of business in which you can cross-sell, up-sell and gain referrals from?

Yes you will have new business targets to hit, but you won't be starting from scratch. That's the difference.

You will look to build relationships with your clients, think of ways to improve service levels and to identify gaps in cover. You will work closely with your Manager and be regularly involved in strategy meetings, doing everything you can to grow your book organically.
