We have been appointed by a national and fast-growing wealth management firm, to lead the search for an experienced Corporate Consultant to join their widely established team covering the Southern Midlands. Working in a regional, home-working capacity, the successful applicant will be responsible for consulting on workplace pensions, group risk and healthcare to SME and corporate clients. The objective of this opportunity is to enhance the opportunity to develop new business within existing clients, whilst assisting and leading the acquisition of new clients into the business.

The successful applicant may also be required, from time-to-time, to provide advice to individual HNW clients which is why the ideal candidate possesses CF30 status.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage, retain and develop an existing portfolio of large SME and mid-sized corporate clients to achieve targets in line with agreed objectives
  • Consult on workplace pensions, group risk (life, protection and critical illness) and healthcare (group PMI) in a client-facing capacity
  • Maintain exceptional levels of client communication, using a holistic-style approach to consulting to help grow the opportunity for client development and new business acquisition
  • Utilising both internal and external relationships, identify and maximise the opportunity for new business development, ensuring appropriate steps are completed from inception of the lead, through to close and delivery of the solution
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of entire corporate proposition, whilst ensuring all relevant qualifications and statuses are attained

What we're searching for

  • Track record in corporate consulting: Providing advice to mid-sized corporate or large SME organisations on a range of employee benefits
  • Strong level of financial and commercial acumen
  • Ability to hunt and acquire new business leads, whilst growing the existing client portfolio
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to handle both individual and corporate advice simultaneously
  • Based within a commutable distance of Buckinghamshire/Midlands
