We are partnered with a growing National Wealth and Corporate Benefits business in their search for a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to join their team in the Bristol/M4 Corridor region.

Our client is a long-established and highly resilient organisation, with a well-developed and market leading corporate proposition, giving them the tools to holistically consultant with SME, Midmarket and Large Corporate organisations. In this opportunity the successful applicant would inherit a portfolio of existing clients, with the responsibility of retaining and developing existing clients whilst seeking out and working on new projects for additional income generation.

This opportunity would be best suited to a technically-astute Consultant or Client Manager, with knowledge and experience within the Workplace Pensions, Group Risk, Health and Wellbeing and wider Employee Benefits markets.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Retain and develop an existing client portfolio; consulting to understand needs and objectives to align best fit services
  • Identify and maintain a pipeline of opportunities for new business growth within new and existing clients
  • Prepare and present communications to clients and employees
  • Work to agreed income and new business objectives
  • Collaborate and support the group to support the growth and smooth running of the operation


What we're searching for:

  • High level of technical knowledge of Employee Benefits products and working towards or completed CII DipPFS
  • Exposure of servicing and developing an existing portfolio of SME and corporate sized clients
  • Able to demonstrate a history of consulting with clients around benefits management
  • Time spent within an existing Broker or consultancy environment, advising clients on full-suite benefits management or specialist areas (workplace pensions, group risk, health-care, flexible benefits)
  • New business track record with the ability to build and grow prospect networks
