This is a rare opportunity to work totally home based, for a Desk Based Advice Manager, with the need to only travel to head office one a month!

This role will see you being responsible for the telephone based team for a National IFA that provide desk based advice and support to private and corporate clients.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • To lead and develop members of the team
  • Take responsibility for the achievement of sales and service standards
  • To provide operational input and expertise into complex matters or projects as required
  • Provide support to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Heads of Channel, other Senior Management, and the wider management team as required
  • Coach, develop and lead the individual members
  • Perform one to ones and annual reviews
  • Check the work of team members and providing suitable feedback including call monitoring as appropriate
  • Provide both advice and guidance direct to members
  • Outbound telephone activity to existing and potential new clients
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Providing the Chief Commercial Officer with regular/weekly management information

For you to be a successful candidate:

  • 7 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English)
  • Level 4 Qualified
  • Financial services experience
  • Line management experience
  • The requisite technical knowledge and qualification (e.g. QCA Level 4 exams)
  • Knowledge of the financial planning market including products and services
  • Working knowledge of FCA rules, guidance notes and commitments that apply to the job role
  • Experience in an IFA/wealth management environment
