Are you an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant or EB Specialist looking for a fresh opportunity? Would you like to work for one of the largest employee benefits companies in the country? My client is looking for an EB Consultant in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire.

Our client is one of the UK's leading, national financial planning practises with a large employee benefits arm of the business. They are a rapidly growing, forward-thinking team of people who have passion for what they do.

The Role

In your new role as an Employee Benefits Consultant with this leading provider, you will deliver a proactive, personal service, ensuring that advice is both accurate and it meets the business requirements and circumstances of the client. This role is key to the organisation through new business development and income generation, and providing qualified advice to clients.

Responsibilities

  • To provide technical, investment and communication advice on all aspects of clients requirements and employee benefits programme
  • Obtain a full understanding of the corporate clients' current circumstances and provisions together with future aims. Research and communicate appropriate options
  • Provide clients with information on new and existing products and services
  • Review their benefit programme on an annual basis and ensure it remains appropriate and aligned to business aims
  • Explain the potential benefits and disadvantages of various products and services suggested to clients
  • Create, build and maintain long-term professional relationships with intermediaries
  • Time recording for profitability is evident
  • To deliver against budget and target

To be successful you will need

  • Qualified to give advice
  • Able to research, analyse and interpret a diverse range of information
  • Able to convey complex information to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding both written and verbally
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
