We have a great opportunity for an experienced Employee Benefits Administrator to join an independent firm specialising in investment management services. This will be within the Employee Benefits arm of business at their headquarters in London.


My client is looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Administrator to join their financial planning department at their headquarters in London. In your new role as Employee Benefits Administrator, you will be an essential member of the administrative support team in London. You will ensure successful implementation of administrative and compliance procedures; support the team in reaching new business, performance and budgetary targets; support allocated Consultants with client liaison and contact with providers. You will also be required to liaise successfully with key stakeholders and perform other duties required by management where appropriate.


  • Ensure that administrative support is provided to the highest level, in a timely fashion, with minimum administrative issues
  • Ensure that all company policy and procedures are implemented successfully, where appropriate identify further enhancements to the procedures
  • Successfully communicate with external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Support the Consultants, by ensuring that their work is carried out efficiently and accurately, so that they can concentrate on securing new clients and business
  • Contribute to an effective and positive risk management culture at the firm
  • Ensure the highest standards on account take on process
  • Ensure that appropriate AML and compliance procedure requirements have been satisfied

To be successful you will need

  • Required minimum regulatory professional standards
  • Good knowledge of all aspects of employee benefits
  • A sound understanding of the regulatory requirements around employee benefits
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures within the company
  • Well informed about the products and services offered by the company
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to work within the constraints of specific deadlines
  • A proactive and positive approach
  • Good commercial understanding and mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, consultative approach and able to influence others to support objectives
  • Confident and able to work alongside strong personalities within the business and target markets
  • Confident (must be able to "manage the Manager" as well as deal with insurance companies and push cases through), discreet, proactive and conscientious
  • Software knowledge - advanced Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook, CRM database experience (Curo, or similar), Exchange/ExWeb quotation packages, Defaqto research tool (or similar)
