A fast-growing employee benefits group are keen to appoint an experienced Employee Benefits and Group Pensions Administrator within their client support team in Birmingham.

You will be responsible for delivering a proficient service to both Consultants and their client portfolios, administrating across group personal pension and group stakeholder schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop internal and external client relationships to assist in providing an efficient service to clients with group personal pension schemes
  • Assist with client requests, queries and dealing with routine correspondence and annual review notifications
  • Process new business applications within service and compliance standards
  • General administration duties including client communication and working to specific deadlines and service levels to ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard
  • Assist with identifying where client profitability could be improved or new business opportunities for Consultants to follow-up
  • Notification and organisation of documentation dispatched by providers following leavers/fund switches
  • Full task and diary management - both personal and client requests
  • Ensure all records are kept up-to-date reflecting current scheme/client information and a history of correspondence is evident for each task carried out

What we're looking for

  • Well-rounded technical knowledge of group pensions and group risk/protection schemes
  • Exposure of working within a similar capacity inside a financial services organisation - preferably from within an intermediary
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
  • Exposure of supporting existing and new clients with employee benefits
