An exclusive opportunity has become arisen within a market-leading, Global Employee Benefits Consultancy, who are searching for an experienced Consultant to join their team in Manchester.
Working on full life-cycle benefits management projects, you will holistically consult with SME and corporate-sized clients on innovative ways to attract, retain and incentivise talent and grow their businesses through benefits provisioning. You will have a sound technical understanding and be able to articulate and consult around a comprehensive proposition encompassing workplace pensions, protection, health, organisation well-being and flexible benefits.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage, retain and develop an existing portfolio of large SME and mid-sized corporate clients; consulting to understand needs and objectives and align best-fit services
  • Consult on workplace pensions, shareholder protection, group risk (life, protection and critical illness), health-care (group PMI), well-being and flexible benefits in a client-facing capacity
  • Maintain exceptional levels of client communication, using a holistic-style approach to consulting to help grow the opportunity for client development and new business acquisition
  • Utilising both internal and external relationships; identify and maximise the opportunity for growth of the existing portfolio by new client referrals and existing client development
  • Prepare and present communications to clients and their employees
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of entire corporate proposition, whilst ensuring all relevant qualifications and statuses are attained

What we're searching for

  • High-level of technical understanding of workplace pensions, protection, health-care, well-being and flexible benefits
  • Track record in consulting with existing and prospective SME and corporate sized business on holistic benefits management
  • Consulting experience with time spent within a Broker, Consultancy or IFA environment
  • Able to develop reciprocal working relationships with internal colleagues, to enhance the opportunity for client cross-over
