Financial Planning Analyst/Report Writer

My client is a chartered financial planner firm, providing independent and impartial financial planning advice who recruit, train, reward and retain the best people and have an excellent team who all have a high level of personal ability and professionalism.

Function of the role
To provide research and report writing support to the Directors and Advisers

Major areas of responsibility

  • Undertaking research and drafting reports to enable the Directors/Advisers to provide advice to clients in all aspects of personal and corporate financial planning
  • Implementation of new business
  • Research and review of new and existing legislation and technical/product information
  • Assisting with production of bulletins to professional introducers
  • Researching and drafting reports to professional introducers such as Solicitors and Accountants
  • Assisting with complex administration matters for clients' small self administered pension schemes and self invested personal pensions
  • Assisting with client and general administration when required
  • Attending client meetings when requested
  • Assisting with seminars for professional introducers and clients
  • Assisting with written communications for marketing campaigns
  • Attending marketing, networking and training and competence meetings
  • Adhering to rules governing compliance and training and competence

The right candidate will have the following:

  • Have a background within a similar role (IFA administration/paraplanning)
  • Be working towards or have financial planning certificates although this is not a must
