Interested in joining a fast-growing employee benefits firm in a group risk and healthcare consulting capacity?

We are partnered with an Insurer who are looking for an Associate or an established Employee Benefits Consultant to work alongside their insurance division to generate new business and cross-sell opportunities, whilst managing an existing portfolio of clients. Good working and technical knowledge around group risk and healthcare benefits is a complete necessity and we're interested in someone who is able to host broad conversations around the wider employee benefits piece from within a Broker.

This opportunity would suit a confident self-starter, who is able to develop referrals from internal relationships in an effort to win new business inside existing insurance clients. We are looking for individuals who are able to lead conversations around employee benefits and someone who's able to consult effectively to grow an existing portfolio of corporate business.

This role will be based in Wolverhampton, with the flexibility to work from home or other regional offices as required. Alongside salary, there is also a generous car allowance and bonus structure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships internally with GI colleagues to generate profitable income for the Group across the total proposition
  • You will consult across risk and healthcare, whilst developing leads and referrals for the pensions team
  • Secure new clients through your own network, cross selling and referrals
  • To manage a small, existing client portfolio
  • Work very closely with other business areas such as marketing, telemarketing and the wider organisation on the identification, profiling and conversion of new leads
  • Partner with relevant support teams to provide a high level of service to clients
  • To achieve lead generation growth in line with agreed targets
