A global firm is searching for a Trainee Group Risk Consultant to advise their clients on all aspects of managing their health and well-being offering. You will be advising on and implementing group risk and other health related insurances which are a key aspect of this service.

This will be a varied role and you will be involved in market broking exercises and ongoing day-to-day administration of client arrangements including enquiries in respect of renewals, funding, underwriting and benefits.

To be considered for this role, you must already be in an Account Management/Associate Consultant with some client facing exposure, who is looking to progress into a fully fledged consultancy position. You must have knowledge of the group risk market and have client facing experience - you will have gained your experience within an intermediary

Overview of the role:

  • Partner with colleagues and client's on the provision and selection of group risk benefits
  • Involved in the administration of clients with regards to all aspects of their employee benefits
  • Manage risk benefit providers for own client base using negotiation and influencing skills
  • Servicing and retaining existing clients
  • Plan and organise renewals with clients
  • Design and redesign of benefits
  • Liaise with both providers and Insurers
  • Assist with re-broking exercises
  • Verification of provider's contract terms
  • Deal with client queries
