A market leading insurance organisation who pride themselves on the service they deliver to their customers are looking to recruit a Head of Operations to lead and direct the claims and customer service function of the business. You will deliver service levels and manage cost both in terms of operational expenses and indemnity spend. This is a key role for the business and you will be responsible for the continuous improvement culture within the business. You will learn from root cause analysis of complaints and feedback and embed and deliver improvements to service.


You will need a detailed understanding of the general insurance market and a broad knowledge of departmental systems and potential future developments which could impact business. You will understand budgets and have detailed knowledge of change leadership and effective implementation of best practice.


You will have managed large teams and demonstrate relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong leadership capability, decision making and overall strategic focus. Customer experience improvement will be at the heart of all you do. You will have strong resource planning and contingency planning capabilities.
