IDEX Consulting have partnered exclusively with an ambitious FTSE 250 firm, who are seeking a Head of Pensions & Benefits for their in-house pension arrangements.

Reporting into the Reward Director, you will be the face of the Pensions and Benefit arrangements and be fully involved in all strategic pensions work, including working closely with the CFO and CEO.

This is an exciting role for a driven and experienced individual with a strategic mindset to help proactively manage the existing DB liabilities and crucially be at the heart of designing the future pensions and benefits proposition (with financial wellbeing at its core) both in the UK and overseas.

Working with and managing the relationships with external advisers and Its, the successful candidate will be engaging with senior decision makers within the business to set objectives, design and implement solutions, and monitor and measure success. It is an attractive balance between strategic planning and rolling-your-sleeves-up that will keep you sharp and engaged.

A good understanding of derisking/PRT, investment strategy and next generation DC/CDC options would be useful
This role would suit a proactive pensions and investment professional, who is looking to move into a highly strategic in-house pensions role.
