An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a senior BDM to join a dynamic and ambitious specialty Insurer in the North of England, heading up a small team of BDM's.

Our client is a well-established and successful multinational Insurer with a rapidly growing market presence in the UK and significant growth plans for the coming few years. The Insurer have a strong brand within the insurance community, one that is committed to delivering innovative and results orientated solutions for their clients, be they large corporate customers or small SME start-ups.

The Role and Responsibilities
This role will see you take on responsibility for the sales and distribution plan for the North of England and Scotland for this ambitious insurance brand. Leading a small but highly professional and experienced team of BDM's, you will drive the pipeline of opportunities and proactively promote the brand and proposition to a broad audience of Brokers across the region. You will work with Brokers in the region and develop a pipeline of new opportunities, ensuring you manage the clients across their products and services. Another aspect of this role is to manage all aspects of Broker relationships, understand and sell the firms propositions and demonstrate a high level of sales professionalism.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role it is essential you have significant experience in the BDM space for a respected commercial/corporate Insurer, additionally we are looking for dynamic and genuinely driven characters who can build momentum behind a unique proposition and message to the Broker market.
