We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Consultant to join a leading financial services company based in Bath, who offer a range of solutions to their private and corporate clients, including wealth management and employee benefits.

Role

To actively manage a portfolio of clients, providing excellent client service and spotting further opportunities through understanding your client's needs. To proactively grow, manage and retain clients, by developing new business opportunities and generating new relationships and opportunities from a variety of sources. The role will be roughly 70% account management and 30% new business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate management information/data relating to the different client contact strategies (including return on investment for planned events) and provide reports as and when required
  • Generate appropriate monthly reporting, information and statistics in the required format
  • Produce and provide when required complex business tender reports based on client needs
  • Formulate and agree a business plan each year
  • Identify and maximise new sales opportunities and take the appropriate steps to secure the business
  • Identify appropriate industry events to represent the business and seek new business opportunities
  • Conduct face to face meetings with clients using the company process to identify clients' needs
  • Spot opportunities for growth of revenue within current client bank, specifically, cross selling within EB e.g. pensions/HRW, selling additional services

To be successful you will need

  • Demonstrable knowledge of the health, risk and well being marketplace, products and service
  • Ability to agree financial objectives and achieve/exceed them
  • A self-motivated individual who has the ability to generate leads and cultivate new client opportunities
  • Excellent commercial awareness and industry knowledge
  • Proven successful track record in target driven environment
  • Previous experience of working as an Employee Benefits Consultant
  • Demonstrable evidence of delivering successfully in a similar role
  • Proven experience of understanding clients' needs and providing focused solutions with successful results

If successful, you will benefit from a salary of up to £60,000.
