Role

My client is looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their expert support team of Administrators and Paraplanners in Nottingham, reporting to the Office Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor new and existing business cases
  • Liaise with clients and providers during progress of applications and ad-hoc enquiries producing/sending letters and via phone calls/emails
  • Use back office system daily to prioritise and manage workload and monitor ongoing and new cases
  • Use back office system to set fee expectations and monitor suspense account
  • Use suitability report templates to prepare basic advice reports
  • Prepare compliance packs for Advisers/intrinsic pre-approval, checking cases before submitting for pre-approval
  • Print and prepare application forms, report and illustrations for Advisers for sign-up meeting
  • Use provider platforms to process and monitor new business
  • Prepare annual client reviews submitted by Advisers
  • Provider commission reconciliation and queries management
  • Provide general ad-hoc support to Advisers and Paraplanners as required
  • General office and administration (post, stationery ordering, phone calls, visitor reception, setting meetings and appointments)

To be successful you will need

  • Practical experience and knowledge of an IFA environment and financial planning
  • Experience of an office administration support role
  • To be able to work on own initiative with great attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills, drive and energy
  • Motivated by working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organised and able to prioritise
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Able to use software packages such as Excel/Word/Outlook and platforms
  • Keen to progress with industry exams
