Independent Financial Advisor, Cambridge, Up to £50,000 + Bonus

A leading fee-based wealth management business, who specialise in providing holistic financial planning to a range of private clients and SME's are keen to appoint a highly qualified Financial Planner to the business. Operating out of the Cambridge office you will have an excellent platform to deliver cash flow planning advice to new and existing wealthy clients.

Due to continued growth and acquisitions the role will be to work with existing clients, which you will service and develop these whilst continuing to grow the average AUM of your clients, the existing framework will allow you to benefit from very high levels of technical support allowing you to free your time to focus on client facing activities. You will be expected to develop your own introduction with the support of the practice and in turn, grow your FUM with good quality clients who will benefit from you assisting them in growing and preserving their wealth.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Take responsibility for managing a portfolio of wealthy clients and providing ongoing reviews
• Create new business opportunities and win new clients through professional and client referrals
• Meet with prospective clients to explain our service and take them through our financial planning process
• Work with our support team to produce clear, technically accurate, compliant and concise financial plans for clients and regular reviews
• Attend functions and events to build professional relationships and promote the firm
• Continually develop and keep updated technical knowledge and professional skills
• Assist in improving the client proposition and processes
• Arrange meetings with new prospects to secure long term financial planning relationships
• Collect and feedback detailed financial information to facilitate preparation of comprehensive strategic financial reports.
• Present the advice in a clear and simple communication style
• Help potential clients make positive decisions about their financial future and to implement any recommendations
• Provide regular activity data to the Managing Director
• Attend training and develop relevant industry knowledge and to further technical skills

Advisers must be Diploma qualified. You will also have experience of delivering quality fee-based business or cash flow modelling to wealthy private clients. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate either a small/large client following or introducers to build from.
