As a Financial Planner, you will offer bespoke wealth management and investment solutions to ultra high/high net worth (UHNW/HNW) clients across the country. You will work with clients to provide a wide range of high-quality investment solutions and products across all asset classes including wealth structuring, lending and banking services. You will be supported by dedicated support teams and experts across the business to ensure you are able to focus on your role.

What's the job?

  • Working closely within a team of qualified Planners, you will provide full wealth planning services to a group of clients with an emphasis on regulated products
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships whilst providing financial advice within the UK regulatory framework
  • Devising and implementing a client acquisition strategy with the Team Managers and collaborating with other specialist support teams to introduce clients as appropriate
  • Coaching more junior colleagues both within the immediate team and within the wider wealth community
  • You'll be working out of the heart of the city, at prestigious offices with some of the best on-site amenities in the area

Who are we looking for?

  • Appropriate advanced financial planning examinations such as a Diploma in Financial Planning to a minimum of qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) 4
  • Satisfying the financial conduct authority (FCA) criteria for an approved person both initially and on-going
  • Specific small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) experience in the area of complex financial planning solutions for high net worth clients
  • Appropriate technical/product knowledge of UK life assurance, pensions and investment advisory

  • The ability to juggle priorities, multitask and deliver work at speed
  • Possessing commercial judgement and an overall understanding of the financial services industry, particularly the business impact of the regulatory environment
  • The ability to embrace challenge in an evolving/changing environment
