My client is currently looking for an experienced IFA Sales Manager in Leeds to manage a team of Advisers and provide independent financial planning advice to high net worth clients.

The role...

  • Responsible for a team of IFAs from a commercial development, sales skills and coaching perspective
  • Monitoring each Adviser's performance and activity with a view to helping them work effectively including motivating them to reach targets
  • To attend the Sales Manager meetings and contribute ideas to develop talent and encourage innovation with the Adviser teams
  • Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises
  • Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision and future aims
  • Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements
  • Working with Paraplanners to research the marketplace and provide clients with information on new and existing products and services
  • Designing financial strategies
  • Assisting clients to make informed decisions
  • Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances
  • Liaising with financial services providers
  • Networking with other professionals, such as Solicitors and Accountants to develop mutually beneficial business relationships and client referrals
  • Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments

The candidate...

  • Level 4 (ideally level 6) qualified competent Advisor
  • Experienced in sales management
  • Ability to mentor, coach, motivate and develop a team of Advisers
  • The ability to network and establish relationships with clients
  • Negotiation and influencing skills as well as determination and tenacity
  • A target-driven mindset
  • Discretion and an understanding of the need for client confidentiality
  • An ethical and professional approach to work
  • Motivate and develop fellow employees
