A unique opportunity has arisen within a growing health and wellbeing provider, to join their team as the Insight, Research and Development Manager.

With a vision to become the UK's leading provider of health and wellbeing services, and a proud history in the marketplace, our client is searching for an individual to co-ordinate market research and analysis, produce compelling product research and development, and provide insights to help colleagues better understand the market from a consumer and analytics perspective.

This position would be best suited to a skilled professional who is adept in working cross functionally, with exceptional stakeholder management skills and a strong background of overseeing the development of insight and research from either a product or market perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of Group Insight, Research and Development to ensure objectives are clearly defined in line with business strategy
  • Produce compelling product development and R&D business cases in new, emerging or existing market sectors
  • Primary point of contact and technical specialist for all retained market insight and data across the group
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and analyse customer insight, identify target markets, suggest appropriate channels and support in commercial decision-making
  • Manage reporting platforms, analytics, data and third party services
  • Provide market insight, research and analysis to support product development and lifecycle management
  • Review processes to identify improvement areas and roadmaps for future development

What we're searching for:

  • Experience in the development of research and analysis from a product and/or market perspective - experience in Employee Benefits, Occupational Health, Healthcare or General Insurance would be advantageous but not essential
  • High level of commercial awareness and an ability to focus on creating solutions for complex problems
  • Able to drive agenda and work closely with senior stakeholders to craft, define and execute objectives
  • Experience of working with Analytics platforms such as PowerBI or similar
  • Experience in product development, with strong project management skills
