My client is a fast growing and successful investment management company which remains totally independent, fiercely competitive and financially strong. We have a proud history of providing investment management and stockbroking service to wealthy individuals, pension funds, charities, trusts and companies. We work closely with many professional Advisers (Financial Advisers, Accountants and Solicitors) when managing their client investments. We aim to deliver a traditional personal service, utilising a highly skilled team and the best available technology to manage and report on portfolios.

Job Specification:

  • Assist with client and partner requests
  • Transferring client assets. Opening of new accounts accurately and efficiently
  • Production of quarterly reporting statement to clients
  • Help with anti-money laundering documentation and electronic checks
  • General administration duties and office assistance
  • Assisting partners with ad-hoc correspondence
  • Production of investment proposals
  • Handling telephone queries and taking messages
  • Client greeting and meeting arrangements
  • Administration of payments, ISA subscription's and tax forms
  • Preparation of general correspondence and documentation prior to and following client meetings
  • General ad-hoc tasks as and when required

Requirement of the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in an investment management organisation
  • Experience in dealing with and delivering a high level of service to demanding professional intermediaries would be extremely beneficial
  • Degree or higher education qualification
  • Written and spoken English to a high standard
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Methodical approach focused on detail and getting the job done correctly the first time. Must not be error prone
  • Takes initiative to improve process and systems. Efficient use of computer automation wherever possible
  • Ability to write task procedures and train others
  • Team player in small company environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Willing to work additional hours
