A specialist, award winning and employee focused business who specialises within the pensions industry and looking for an Investment Analyst to join their team in Leeds City Centre. The business has gained growth with a long history of success and is continuing to grow year on year organically. The role is within the investment consultancy sector and provides investment services to the pension schemes of UK companies and other sectors such as charities.

You will be expected to create investment performance reports and draft investment advice whilst assisting the Investment Manager with research. You will be analysing actuarial valuation results, cash flow projections and calculating liability projections.

You will also act as a mentor whilst undertaking this role assisting graduates and junior colleagues in checking their work and assisting with learning. You will be responsible for client management, taking responsibility for the allocation and completion of work, as well as working to deadlines and directly with senior members of the team.

The business requires you to be professional, aim for continuous improvement, work with clients in an effective manor and to be a strong communicator, as well as team work and leadership skills. You will need be a self-motivated individual who has strong problem solving abilities, able to plan and be organised.

To be successful it is ideal that you are currently working towards actuarial exams or CFA exams and have some background working in a similar role previously. If successful, you shall benefit from an above market average salary of up to £45,000 and a competitive corporate employee benefits package as well as progression within the business and access to industry examinations.
