My client is a well-known and highly respected national investment management firm. They are currently looking to expand their international team by recruiting an experienced Investment Analyst in London.

THE ROLE

  • To provide, as necessary, support to the Head of Advisory in developing centralised ideas and documentation for RMs
  • Support the Head of Advisory in portfolio reviews
  • Support the Head of Advisory in structured products delivery and the preparation of specific portfolio proposals and rebalancing proposals
  • Participate and lead sessions within weekly investment meetings
  • Deliver the right advice to each specific target market
  • To maintain enhanced communication to colleagues and clients in a timely and regulatory compliant manner
  • As required, to liaise with the operations, compliance and administration units on behalf of the team
  • Produce daily newsletter for the International teams
  • Develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and, where appropriate, professional qualifications
  • Produce ad-hoc market flashes, opinion changes, up- and downgrades
  • To act as a data gatherer in order to deliver a suitable output to stakeholders



THE CANDIDATE

  • Level 4 qualified
  • Experience from within an investment management firm
  • Desire to learn and a thirst for knowledge regarding investment management
  • Able to take responsibility and ownership for work to meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage expectations and develop productive relationships with internal customers and investment professionals
  • Be able to analyse and interpret information critically
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy and consistency
  • Able to manage work load and prioritise and organise work to meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Demonstrate resilience, professionalism and ability to cope with pressure and be able to tailor approach to individuals to get the best output
