We are looking to take on a Junior Adviser in our Bristol office. Joining a well-establish, client focused team of qualified Financial Planners. The firm have had great success with their Junior Advisers nationwide.

The role will suit a Paraplanner or Trainee Adviser who has a great grasp of financial services and is looking for a prosperous firm who can support and train you into a successful financial planner.

Key responsibilities:

  • Construct and maintain suitable financial plans for clients taking into account:
    • Client's requirements, circumstances and tax situation
    • Client's appetite for and ability to bear risk and capacity for loss
    • Client's longer term aspirations
  • Understand and consider the relative impact of factors such as retirement planning, inheritance/estate planning, divorce, investment structures, tax efficiency for individual clients and construct financial plans accordingly
  • Understand the features and benefits of the different types of financial product and select suitably in order to meet the needs of individual clients
  • Advise clients on suitable financial solutions for their short, medium and longer term needs and monitor their financial plans for continued suitability on an ongoing basis
  • Articulate complex financial planning issues to clients in a clear and comprehensive manner and ensure that they have been fully understood
  • Where appropriate, structure and lead client meetings ensuring this is done in a professional manner and that all information and advice is up to date, technically accurate and meets clients' needs

To be successful you will:

  • Have obtained your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Full Statement of professional standing
  • CF30
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills
  • Experience of report and letter writing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work using own initiative
