We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant (PA) to join a chartered, independent advisory firm based in City of London.

The Company

My client is a client-centric, chartered, independent advisory firm based in City of London. They specialise in wealth planning, asset management and employee benefits.

Role

To provide PA support to the Private Client Director of a successful team, along with additional
administrative support to the Private Client Director and other support staff in the team. This is a busy role assisting the team in delivering an outstanding holistic financial planning service to new and existing clients of the company. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work unsupervised and to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and diarise meetings on behalf of the Private Client Director
  • Work with the Private Client Director to prioritise tasks
  • Fields calls and email queries as appropriate and act on all non-technical queries
  • Organise travel, including transport, accommodation and any other necessary arrangements
  • Manage the Private Client Director's expenses and CPD
  • Chase clients for relevant paperwork and information
  • Provide agendas for internal and client meetings


To be successful you will need

  • A good standard of secondary education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high degree of competency in Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience working as a Receptionist, Office Assistant, PA or in a general administrative role
  • The ability to demonstrate client focus and excellent customer service, to internal and external clients
  • A confident, articulate style and be hard-working and self-motivated
  • Experience in financial services, notably in an independent financial planning firm - this is not essential, but will be a distinct advantage
  • Familiarity with the systems and software used by the firm to perform the role (iO, Volume, etc.) - this is not essential, but will be a distinct advantage
