My client is currently looking for a Paraplanner to join their team in Carlisle. The firm offers great routs into advisory for those looking to progress this would be the perfect opportunity.

The role holder will be responsible for the research, analysis and compilation of suitability reports. The role holder will support IFAs in their local office and other regions, providing suitability reports for new and existing clients. They will work in conjunction with the administration team to achieve and where possible, exceed the IFA's annual targets and objectives.

The role:

  • Prepare all research and analysis to compile suitability reports based on templates
  • Provide research for asset allocation on a client's existing portfolio
  • Quantify and analyse clients existing investments at client review stage
  • Perform tax planning analysis within recommendations
  • Analyse clients existing benefits in line with our risk profile
  • Perform investment planning analysis
  • Produce pension forecasts and illustrations
  • Receive instructions during debriefings from Advisers following client meetings
  • Interpret data obtained by Advisers during client meetings
  • Liaise with the client support administration team to obtain relevant product information
  • Analyse data by using research tools to provide solutions to meet client's needs and objectives
  • Provide records to support research undertaken
  • Consolidate client's needs and objectives, together with the recommendations and course of action in a written format via a suitability report, client specific illustration and key features document, etc.

Candidates should be Level 4 Diploma qualified (or close to completing) and have previously worked in a Paraplanner/IFA support role.
