A leading Birmingham Insurance Broker are is seeking an experienced Private Client Executive to join the team.
You will be required to have private car and home insurance experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a first class support service as part of a team, ensuring effective day to day servicing of client accounts
  • Prepare and secure motor and home policies due for renewal
  • Manage client/agent relationships throughout the policy term, offering professional advice and assistance whilst keeping clients information up to date
  • Maintain awareness of responsibilities under FCA and other regulatory requirements and ensure all activities is conducted in accordance with these
  • Keep up to date with Insurer placement strategy, sales schemes and new products
  • Build up a sales pipeline of business opportunities that will ensure sales targets are met
  • Promote and sell additional products to clients
  • Ensure that premiums are paid in accordance with credit control requirements
  • Build productive relationships with clients to ensure that their renewal needs are fully understood and met


  • Cert CII/Dip CII (Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications) desirable
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent

Technical Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of general insurance personal lines products, services, classes of insurance including underlying legal principles and practices relating to risk within own role capacity
  • Mid/high net worth experience desirable
  • Awareness of the regulatory requirements in respect of 'advised' and 'non-advised' sales and in particular evidencing the standards and knowledge required in respect of giving advice and making recommendations to customers
