Job Purpose

  • Proactively generate suitable candidates and clients within your specific geographical regions
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and candidates
  • Work towards agreed objectives and financial targets set by the business

Main Responsibilities - Key Deliverables

  • Meet and exceed financial targets
  • Identify and build relationships with key professionals within your market
  • Present a professional and corporate image at all times
  • Maintain market knowledge for your specific sector

Main Responsibilities - Accountabilities

  • Income anticipated: £80,000+
  • Interviewing candidates over the telephone and face to face
  • Pitching clients to candidates
  • Pitching candidates to clients
  • Briefing/preparing candidates for interviews with clients
  • Gaining referrals from candidates at all given opportunities
  • Attending client visits
  • Matching candidates to jobs
  • Giving feedback to candidates from clients
  • Offer management
  • Account retention/development
  • Attend/running of networking events
  • Proactively generate new clients within your geographical regions
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all clients
  • Conduct professional and thorough job registrations, pro-actively identifying opportunities for exclusivity
  • Ensure the most profitable fee agreements are negotiated with clients, whilst ensuring a professional and solution focused approach (sign off needed by Manager for fees under 18%)
  • Proactively support clients, ensuring all live vacancies are serviced
  • Proactively develop business with existing clients by identifying prospective vacancies or opportunities
  • Client/candidate entertaining
  • Calling through your interviews from the last 6 months to see if any ended up with companies you introduced them to (finding lost fees)
  • Research the market; looking at competitors and sourcing new jobs
  • Continuously look for ways to improve upon internal processes
  • Take responsibility for own personal development
  • Development and demonstration of market intelligence
  • Undertake projects and other tasks as and when required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Solid understanding of recruitment methodologies
  • Good knowledge of the market and industry you work within
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of using modern recruitment technologies
  • Highly motivated and capable of working across function and within a team
  • Understanding profitability of business and commercial opportunity/success
  • Strong communication, negotiating and relationship building skills, with experience of these skills being applied to a technical recruitment environment
  • Track record of relationship management

Additional Information

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 18:00 - Friday, 8:30 - 16:00
