I'm currently partnered with a leading global consultancy who are in the market for an established Business Development Consultant to join their London office. Apart from working in a supportive organisation, they are leading the way in the employee benefits space and will be a great platform to develop your own skills and progress your career.

The Role

  • Responsible for generating new business by identifying, managing and converting sales opportunities across the business' proposition
  • Understand both the strategy and risks of new business to drive product service to create new leads
  • Partnered with the bid team to convert opportunities into revenue
  • Fully qualify opportunities to assess likelihood of success
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager and colleagues within to identify and develop sales and marketing initiatives
  • Ensure all sales procedures are adhered to
  • Deliver face-to-face compelling proposal pitches
  • Provide a high level of service which is compliant with procedures

You

  • Strong sales experience within employee benefits - must have the ability to talk on a broad level rather than one specific specialism
  • Must be able to understand an employee benefits strategy and understand the benefits of the service that can be provided
  • Confidence in the ability to communicate (face-to-face) with key stakeholder - Senior HR Managers/Compensation and Benefit Consultants/HR Business Partners
  • Self-generation, networking and ability to develop pipelines
