Are you interested in joining a Global Consulting firm in an employee benefits capacity; consulting on pension schemes (added capabilities in the group risk/protection and/or group medical is not a requirement, but would be an asset) with existing and new clients, within the large corporate space?

I'm partnered with a market-leader within the employee benefits market, who are searching for a Senior Consultant, to join their established London team.

The role:

  • Providing strategic consulting advice and support to clients, primarily in respect of their insured pension schemes
  • Supporting clients with their insured pension scheme governance responsibilities
  • Nurturing relationships with a focus on proactive support, superior client delivery, and building trust
  • Delivering on growth - both within your client portfolio and across the segment and wider firm
  • Adhering to our revenue and client governance processes (revenue forecasting, reporting, compliance, etc.)
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders to affect positive outcomes for your clients and your colleagues
  • Collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders toward a common goal of delivery excellence and growth
  • Management of work within the team - including delegation of work to more junior team members and coordinating appropriate peer review, etc.
  • Contribution towards development of thought leadership and intellectual capital
  • Focusing on solutions and continuous improvement - both individually and across teams
  • Supporting the coaching, training, and development of junior team members

Required experience:

  • Proven experience in a related employee benefits consulting role
  • Broad knowledge of retirement, risk and finance-related products and services
  • Ability to consult, analyse and communicate program risk, options and solutions related to employee benefits
  • Experience identifying business needs and aligning products to provide strategic solutions for clients
  • Strong focus on delivering for clients and for succeeding both individually and within a team
