A lifestyle financial planning firm are looking to hire an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their business based in Witney, Oxfordshire. This is an opportunity for a determined and proactive individual willing to embrace company culture and being involved in all areas of work.

This would suit an individual who seeks progression as part of a team and embraces the prospect to be involved in a growing company where they can personally make a difference.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Typical responsibilities would include managing the day to day reporting and administration processes such as:
    • Ensuring that any business conducted is done in a responsible and compliant manner, meeting all legislative requirements both internally and externally
    • Assisting with fund switches and re-balances
    • Issue periodic investment updates to clients
    • Preparing documents and presentations to assist the investment committee, including agenda, minutes and coordination of follow-up action
    • Maintenance of client contact lists
    • Provide additional support, as required, to the advice team to complete client reviews
    • Liaising with product providers and other relevant third parties
    • Draft and write financial planning reports and letters of suitability
    • Providing high quality administration and analytical support to the advice team and clients
    • Processing all private client related new business and servicing queries
    • Liaising with the advice team to ensure all aspects of development, change and ongoing activities are clearly communicated and absorbed in the company
    • Ensuring all meeting follow-up work is completed within agreed timescales

Required:-

  • Experience within and IFA or financial planning practice
  • Comfortable with new business processing
  • A strong knowledge of financial products, particularly pensions and investments
  • A strong team player with a 'can do' attitude that can bring knowledge previously obtained as well as a flexible approach to all aspects of the role
