Are you looking to work with experienced Financial Advisers in a business who focuses on the "best of the best" service to their high net worth clients? I am currently representing a client who are based in West Yorkshire and have multiple offices across the UK. they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Paraplanner to join their team due to progression within the team.

You will be part of a paraplanning team based in Leeds and responsible for delivering high quality reports to Advisers based on holistic financial planning advice. The role initially will be to focus on paraplanning; however there is the potential to progress into a trainee IFA role for the right individual and if this is your desired career path.

To be successful in this Paraplanning role, you will have experience within the financial services; possess strong technical knowledge, and have the relevant paraplanning experience. You will have good report writing skills, with the ability to conduct research in connection with investment, retirement and pension planning. However there is a business requirement for the team to have specialist individuals that focus on DB Transfer, IHT or cash flow modelling and be able to focus on certain niche areas which can be discussed at the interview stage.

You should have experience in supporting Advisers with a range of tasks, including correspondence with product providers and clients, researching products and writing suitability reports, as well as providing support to other members of a paraplanning team. You will also be a good communicator and have a working knowledge of the financial services industry across the full range of investments, pensions, retirement solutions and protection business. Candidates should be working towards the diploma in financial planning (or equivalent) or already hold the qualification with the aim to be working towards chartered.
