A well-established, National Wealth Management practice, are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Paraplanner into their team in Leeds. Our client has a focus on enhancing the personal relationship they hold with their customers, which is underpinned by their multi-channel reach and global investment expertise, and their aim is to become a top financial planning business in the coming 5 years.

Working collaboratively with a team of Administrators and Report Writers, you will be responsible for suggesting recommendations and creating reports which meet regulatory requirements; supporting a team of experienced Advisers with technical and often complex cases. You will be adept with using cash flow modelling tools and have a deep understanding of the advice process; to challenge the advice that's being provided to clients, and to share ideas to contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies, processes and the overall client experience.

The role would suit a highly ambitious and well-organised Paraplanner, who has a strong understanding of the advice process and is looking for a platform to further develop their craft.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to provide and produce financial reports for the full range of products sold by the Wealth Advisers
  • Maintaining up to date personal development plan and adhere to the training and competence scheme for the role
  • Understand and contribute towards a high-performance culture
  • Take responsibility for incoming enquiries, requests and instructions from internal/external clients and provide a timely response
  • Provide outstanding client service and portray an excellent image to all clients including internal clients and proactively manage the client experience
  • Actively search for and participate in continuous improvement ideas to improve processing methods and associated procedures to proactively manage the client experience

  • Effective administration as required, monitor and carry out regular designated procedures accurately and promptly
  • Ensure validation and correct input of information onto relevant systems
  • Carry out and/or assist with additional tasks as required by your line manager and carry out special takes and projects as required


What we're looking for:

  • Level 4 qualified - Diploma in Financial Planning/Regulated Financial Planning
  • Very strong understanding of financial planning principles
  • Genuine desire to provide a high standard of advice and service to clients
  • Experience in cash-flow modelling
  • Highly organised and client-focused, with a willingness to contribute ideas
