As an Account Executive, are you currently having similar conversations with your senior leadership team about over-stretched, unrealistic targets. Do you fear you may be neglecting your existing clients as your current employer are constantly trying to squeeze more new business out of you?

You are naturally a 'risk adviser', where you most add value is when you're in front of clients providing advice, a consultative service. You may not be the cheapest of Brokers out there, but you are thorough with your approach and you leave no stone unturned. Your clients know you to be a safe pair of hands, a reliable, trustworthy and honest individual.

No wonder your client retention rate is high 90s, and you're often the go to Account Executive in the team for technical advice.

IDEX is working closely with one of the UK's highest rated Independent Brokers in the East as they are looking to make a key hire to their Senior Exec team. Joining their offices in Ipswich, you will be joining as a Commercial Account Executive, to inherit a long-standing book of business currently earning approx. £250,000 in commission/income.

Your clients will come from a real interesting suite of industries, and clients will typically pay £50,000 - £100,000 GWP (Some potentially larger) for their insurance programmes.

You'll be able to offer a good level of commercial insurance knowledge and have operated in a Commercial Account Executive role within an insurance broker. You'll of course be expected to grow your account organically, however you won't be within an aggressive sales culture/environment where you are at risk of neglecting your clients….. that's the difference.

As an integral part of the business, you will be rewarded with a base salary up to £70,000 which includes a car allowance (TBD) and benefits that include Private Medical Cover, Pension/Life Assurance, 25 days holiday, bonuses to incentivise performance, rewards schemes and hybrid/flexible working

We are looking to talk to individuals anywhere across the East which includes Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex.
